The culprit was the home’s original timber-framed windows and doors — their single-glazed panes and deteriorating seals offered virtually no barrier against sound or temperature. After discussing the options, Trevor chose a complete whole-home replacement with anthracite black uPVC double-glazed windows and doors, fitted with retractable pleated flyscreens. Our Solution

Delivery & Installation
Our team arrived with a full truck of custom-manufactured anthracite black uPVC frames and sealed double-glazed units, ready for a whole-home installation. Each window and door was built to precise measurements taken during our initial site visit, ensuring every unit fit the existing brick reveals without structural modification. The old timber frames were carefully removed, the reveals prepared, and the new units installed, shimmed, sealed, and flashed — a systematic process that our experienced crew handles efficiently across multi-day whole-home projects.

The finished installation gives the home a bold, contemporary look. The anthracite black uPVC frames create a striking contrast against the brown brickwork, modernising the entire facade. Each window features a combination of fixed lower panes for maximum light and awning (top-hung) upper sashes for controlled ventilation. The sealed double-glazed units reflect the surrounding landscape while blocking heat, cold, and noise from passing through. Every frame is maintenance-free — no painting, no sealing, no corrosion for the 30+ year lifespan of the product.
Front Door & Full-Home Transformation
The centrepiece of the project is the new anthracite black front entry door — a bold, modern panel design with vertical planking and a frosted glass sidelight that floods the entrance hall with natural light while maintaining privacy. The full-home views show the dramatic transformation: every window on the facade now features sleek black uPVC frames that give the home a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic.
