Mark and Felicity reached out to Smart Doors & Windows with a clear problem: excessive train noise was disrupting their daily comfort and sleep quality. Their existing single-glazed windows and outdated doors offered virtually no acoustic insulation, leaving the household exposed to every passing train.
After a thorough on-site consultation, our team recommended a full window and door replacement package designed specifically for acoustic performance. We installed double-glazed uPVC windows throughout the home — engineered with laminated acoustic glass and multi-chamber profiles that dramatically reduce sound transmission. For the entry points, we fitted thermally broken aluminium doors, including a large sliding door opening onto the backyard and a single hinged door on the side of the property. Every product was custom-measured, fabricated in our Melbourne workshop, and professionally installed by our experienced crew.
